I am a helping professional, I use the focusing method in my work.

I obtained my qualification as a focus guide and focus trainer at the Hungarian Focus-Oriented Therapy and Focusing Institute. I have been working with inidividual clients and groups since 2019.

I am currently training in somato-psychotherapy at the Hungarian Somato-Psychotherapy Institute.

Focusing

Focusing is a self-awareness and personality development method, which helps deepening and introspection. You can get information about your body sensations with driving your attention towards yourself; you can deal with topics and feelings that affect you while maintaining contact with your body.

 

Focusing is easy to learn, it is a special way of self-reflection, it teaches you how to turn off your mind and how to turn on the sensations of your body.

When should you turn to focusing?

If there is some important topic that concerns you, and you cannot express your feelings clearly enough; if you often feel that your thoughts take you away from reality; if you're constantly experiencing great emotions, but you're somehow stuck: you should familiarize yourself with the very simple and yet powerful method of focusing.
